Insane footage of Rihanna performing at billionaire’s wedding showcases crazy iPhone zoom

The footage confused users on which smartphone device it was filmed on.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar went all out to mark the occasion.

With Ambani's father, Mukesh Ambani, having a net worth of $114 billion, the event was to be nothing short of spectacular.

The guest list contained more than 1,000 invitees, including industry figures like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Ivanka Trump. And popstar Rihanna was reportedly paid a huge $6.3 million to perform a 90-minute set for the crowd.

However, the spotlight wasn't just Rihanna's mesmerising performance, but the device used to capture it.

FentyStats shared a clip of Rhi Rhi's set on X, performing the song 'All of the Lights.' The 'We Found Love' singer sang from the top of a podium, while dancing in a long, lime green sheer dress.

Whilst the footage quality of the singer was undeniably impressive, the real amazement struck when the user zoomed out and people could see just how far away the user was actually sitting from the singer.

The camera lens zoomed out to the point that the Barbadian singer became nothing more than a spec and the surrounding crowd became almost invisible.

Some social media users claimed the impressive camera feature to be from a Samsung phone, with some comments reading: 'These are the type of ads Samsung needs to be doing' and 'When I got my Samsung had me zooming into everything for like a week. It's still useful when there is something in the distance you can't make out.'

However, the footage was later confirmed to be filmed from an Apple device.

The man behind the camera, Joh Masse, confirmed that he filmed the performance on his iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Masse replied to the shared post on FentyStats and admitted: 'Yall asking me which phone I use to record the vids. This is the phone : iphone 13 pro max. I'm not an android user I never will be.'

The wedding guest explained that the footage's impressive zoom was achieved using Apple's wide-angle feature.

In response to the claim, one X user said: 'This is unintentionally the greatest ad for android, the zoom out was crazy.'

Elsewhere, not everyone is so convinced, claiming 'lies'. Another respondent demanded that he 'Prove it'.

Questions regarding Masse's attendance at the wedding were also being fired online, with demands for proof of his invitation to the wedding and even some suggestions that he should just confess to using a Samsung instead.
