Finding a nifty little hack on a gadget you already own is always a nice win, especially when it makes it extra useful.
A woman has been left wowed after realising that the humble Apple laptop charger comes with some hidden features.
Now for some Apple superfans, this hidden bonus might not seem new and exciting but we can guarantee not everyone knows about it.

TikToker Laney Kate shared her surprise to TikTok with a 15-second clip revealing what she found in one corner of her laptop charger. Pointing to a small square, she shows that it can come off revealing two silver prongs inside.
She explained to the camera: "So I just realized this little square—it comes off."
She then posted a follow-up video as she explained how she discovered the hidden corner.
Laney had purchased Apple’s World Travel Adapter Kit and that led to her finding that the laptop charger can be adapted with plus for different countries around the world. The handy Apple kit comes with different adaptors for places including North America, Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, and Brazil.
Speaking as she showed off the plug and its various adaptors, Laney explained: "You pull this little thing out—I’ve always wondered what it’s about—and you slide [the adapters] in, and it’s a freaking new block now. And you can change out all of them."
Also the travel kit adaptors aren't just limited for laptops, but can be used across lots of Apple devices and Laney shows with her old iPad.
A stunned Laney shows how it can work as she shared: "Guys…"
She then continued: "That’s cool, because we can use all the different [adapters].
"So if you have this and you’ve always wondered what it was for, … that’s what it’s for."
It seems like Laney isn't the only person to discover this nifty Apple hack either, as one person commented on the video: "I literally knew that you could take that thing out but I didn’t know what it was for, that’s so cool."
Another shared: "I’m coming from the other video and I’m really glad I watched this one bc I knew it came off but I didn’t know why that’s actually so smart of Apple."
Yet it's not quite brand new information for everyone as some tech fans already knew about the genius Apple move. One person wrote: "Wait, I thought everyone knew they came off for other adaptors."
Another person pointed out another hack for the laptop charger as they revealed: "They also sell like an extension cord that connects to that thing to make your charger longer."
