Apple's latest smartphones, which were released last Friday (September 20), come with a whole host of features for users to enjoy.

iOS 18 includes a new Passwords app and smart handwriting for Notes, alongside allowing owners to fully customize their home screen and control center.

Keen photographers will love the new physical camera control button.

And, iPhone 16 and 16 Pro come with an A18 chip with a 3nm process, making them 30 percent faster that previous Apple models.

But, it's not all good news for owners of the new smartphones, with one thing leaving them rather disappointed.

In a TikTok video that's been viewed 2.8 million times, content creator Nathan Espinoza shared his shock at an iPhone 16 feature nobody told him about.

He started the video by asking: "Why did nobody tell me about this until I already bought the new iPhone 16?"

While Nathan loved its Ultramarine color, which he called 'low-key one of the best iPhone colors of all time,' he wasn't so impressed by the fact that Apple Intelligence, the tech firm's AI system, hadn't arrived on the smartphones yet.

"The one thing that nobody told me about this phone until after I bought it is that all of the Apple Intelligence features, which have been pretty much 90 percent of the marketing for this phone, aren't even available yet," he said. "That means Apple is currently shipping brand new iPhone 16s with none of the features that they've been marketing.

"Sure we get all the hardware upgrades, but all of the cool stuff that's been in almost every single Apple ad isn't gonna be available until next month.

"I'm okay with waiting a month but it just seems very very un-Apple-like to do something like that."

But, that isn't the only thing about the iPhone 16 that's left a bad taste in people's mouths.

Upon opening their new phones, users were shocked to find out that for the first time, the latest device was missing the iconic Apple stickers.

Instead of them waiting inside each box, the tech giant announced that the stickers will only be available to customers who request them, which is bad news if you already have one on the way.

Fans took to Reddit to share their reactions to the news, with one user writing: "Stickers today, no phone in the box tomorrow."

Another commented: "iPhone 17 will come without a box, just wrapped in a 100% recycled sheet of paper with the shipping label."

And a third joked: "Canceled my preorder and am literally crying and shaking."
