South Park has once again set the internet ablaze, this time by dropping behind-the-scenes shots of a jaw-dropping live-action sketch from its explosive Season 27 premiere – just days after the White House blasted the episode as “irrelevant”.
The season opener aired last Wednesday and quickly went viral for its portrayal of Donald Trump in some of the show’s most outrageous scenes in years. One of the most talked-about moments involved the former US president sharing a bedroom scene with Satan, while another featured a bizarre live-action political PSA where a disturbingly realistic Trump wanders through a desert before stripping naked, revealing what the narrator later describes as a “teeny-tiny” penis.
Now, official South Park social media accounts have lifted the curtain on how the team pulled off the controversial moment. The images show a camera crew crowding around an actor playing Trump, with co-creator Trey Parker leaning in close to the actor’s groin and holding up a single finger dressed to resemble Trump’s member. The caption on the post simply reads: “A little behind the scenes.”

The crude PSA segment ends with Trump’s animated genitalia speaking directly to the camera, saying: “I’m Donald J. Trump, and I endorse this message”.

That was before the narrator delivers the final punchline: “Trump. His penis is teeny-tiny, but his love for us is large.”
The episode didn’t just rile up viewers online; it triggered an official response from Trump’s White House.
In a statement to Variety, spokesperson Taylor Rogers said: “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end – for years they have come after ‘South Park’ for what they labelled as ‘offence’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show. Just like the creators of ‘South Park,’ the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.”
Rogers continued: “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention”.

“President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
The premiere episode focused on Trump suing the town of South Park for $5 billion after its residents protested being forced to let Jesus into their schools. Jesus himself appears from the heavens, only to warn the townspeople that “South Park” could be “cancelled” for standing up to Trump.
Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Parker mock-apologised to critics, saying: “We’re terribly sorry,” before dropping the mic into his lap. Matt Stone later revealed they fought producers for days over whether Trump’s nudity should be censored, saying they found a loophole by putting cartoon eyes on his privates to avoid blurring.

Season 27 is now streaming on Paramount+, with the new teaser above hinting that the Trump-Satan saga is far from over when the next episode drops on 6 August.
