One of the scariest films of the last decade is on its way out of the Netflix catalog this month, so you only have a couple more days to catch it before it disappears.

While it might still be a while until you break out the pumpkins and ghosts for Halloween, there's never a bad time to whack on a classic horror film. Feeling the fear of a good scary movie is something you can always enjoy, yet you might miss out on one of the best releases in the last decade if you don't add it to your Netflix watch list soon.

Much like every other streaming service, Netflix chops and changes its catalog every single month, bringing in new films and TV shows for you to enjoy. However, to welcome these new experiences Netflix often has to get rid of things already on the service, even if these are considered classics by many.

One such film that's leaving this month is Ari Aster's Heriditary, which came out to rave reviews in 2018, having garnered a fantastic 90% on Rotten Tomatos' Tomatometer.

Following the death of an important family member, the film follows one mother's search for 'disturbing' secrets that eventually lead to far greater horrors that are bound to chill you to your core.

Hereditary has been praised for it's 'chilling' and 'unsettling' approach that's almost certain to stay with you after the credits have rolled, and it's also earned itself a high rating of 4.0 on popular cinephile social media site Letterboxd.

It's so scary that Alex Wolff, one of the main cast members, revealed that he suffered from PTSD after filming concluded due to the 'disturbing s***' he had to act, as per LADbible.

If you love a bit of a scare and somehow haven't yet seen Hereditary then now's the perfect time to hanker down under the covers and give it a watch. However, you only have a few more days to load it up, as it's scheduled to leave Netflix this month on April 15, as reported by the Independent.

That still gives you just over a week at the time of writing, although you might have to give yourself a buffer of at least a couple of days because you never know if you'll need to stop and take a break when it gets too scary!

Some other highlights that are leaving Netflix's collection alongside Hereditary include Baby Driver, Interstellar, Love Actually, The Menu, The Nice Guys, and Space Jam.
