An iconic 2000s DVD could end up earning you some decent cash.

In a world dominated by streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime and Disney Plus, it’s easy to forget that DVDs were ever a thing we would use often.

The age of buying physical copies of movies feels like a lifetime ago - Don’t even get us started on the days of visits to Blockbusters.

However, if you’re a bit of a film fanatic or just enjoyed collecting DVDs, you could be sitting on a bit of money.

That’s right, there’s one particular film that people want to get their hands on, and it’s worth some cash.

And lucky for you, this is a very popular film, (even considered one of the greatest in its genre), so there’s a good chance you could own it.

It’s unavailable to stream on any platform, and you can't buy the disks on Blu-Ray as they're out of production.

Whilst you could probably find it on eBay if you searched high and low, you’d most likely have to fork out quite a bit.

Wondering which film is in such high demand? It’s none other than Danny Boyle's 2002 zombie apocalypse flick 28 Days Later.

Not available on Netflix or Prime Video in some countries, those old video stores are looking pretty appealing right now huh?

One of the lucky ones that actually owns a Blu-Ray disk of the film? Well, you can enjoy it to your hearts delight or you could look at selling it online.

It will definitely be a profitable sale.

TikToker @unkn0wns0ldier11 pointed out that someone over in the US was able to sell their copy for $110 because there's no supply but demand still exists.

So, why not check your collection. You could have a hundred dollars sitting amongst you Blu-Rays and not even know.
