Man documented his experience flying on a one-star airline dubbed the ‘most problematic’ with a ‘high number of accidents’ and was shocked by his experience.

Simon Wilson’s adventurous videos around the world have earned him a following of over a million subscribers.

In his latest video, the YouTuber documented his experience on a budget airline in Kazakhstan.

The airline in question was Qazaq Air, which has just 1 and a half stars on TripAdvisor.

The flight cost him £66 and getting into his seat, Wilson started to realize why.

He said: “Oh my god, I am crammed in here, I can’t even explain it.”

He added: “The plane looks alright, very small and proper crammed in but it looks modern enough. It doesn't look old, my window is literally right next to the propeller, if that stops working, I’ll be the first to see it.”

Wilson went on to explain that ‘this is definitely the least space I’ve had on a flight but so far so good’, adding that he wouldn’t call it a ‘one-star airline’.

The YouTuber’s next flight was with Scat Airlines, which cost him £96, however he was surprised by how nice the flight was.

Departing at his destination in Almaty, Wilson said: “Let’s be honest that wasn’t a one-star experience and neither was the Qazaq one either, if I had to pick the best one I'd have said Qazaq purely just because the airport was mental in there.

“I'd definitely fly both again.”

Viewers took to the YouTube comment section to share their reactions to the video.

One user wrote: “An airline named Scat Airlines is crazy.”

Another said: “As an introvert, Sitting next to Simon on a long flight would probably be my worst nightmare lmao.”

A third commented: “I suffer with crippling anxiety especially when it comes to travel, so watching you fills me with amazement at how you take all your travels in your stride. You inspire me to challenge my phobias! I’ve got a passport and luggage which is a start I guess! If I manage it one day, you’ll have played a big part! Keep up the vids!!!”

And fourth person added: “If that ends up being the best thing out of this flight is that you never heard of it might mean they haven't had so many accidents that's always a plus to take off and land safely on a plane regardless of the service.”
