The “Hawk Tuah” girl has said that she loves Elon Musk after he reportedly slid into her DMs.

The girl, whose real name is Hailey Welch, went viral earlier this year when she was asked what move makes a man go crazy in the bedroom.

No one was expecting what her reply would be, as she said: “You gotta' give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thing.”

Since then, Welch has been caught up in a social media frenzy after GIFs and memes of her spread across the internet.

The 21-year-old has publicly thanked Tesla boss Musk after she claimed she’s received “personal messages” from the tech mogul.

On X, formerly Twitter, she wrote: “I want to get to know yall on X so if u ask a question I might just answer.”

When asked by one user what her thoughts were on Musk, Welch replied: “I love that man!”

The Tennessee native also shared a video onto the platform where she gets into a Tesla Cybertruck, saying: “I’m looking at one of these transformer tanks, Mr Elon Musk, this s***’s pretty crazy and you even got a TV up in here.”

In the caption, she wrote: “Mr Elon how did you come up with this tank.”

Welch now has over 193,000 followers on X and Musk interacted with her after she joined the site, writing to her: “This is the free speech platform, so feel free to say whatever you want! Unless it's illegal, it won't be taken down. Of course, you should expect trolls and NPC attacks, but that's just part of the experience.”

Welch wrote: “I love u Elon ur my hero!”

Sharing her excitement about the interaction she had with the billionaire, Welch took a screenshot of it and posted it for her 2.2 million followers to see on her Instagram stories.

After making her real identity known, Welch has been doing the rounds of podcast appearances.

Speaking out for the first time on the Plan Bri Uncut, Welch set the record straight and gave her side of the story on the viral moment.

On the podcast, she said: “It’s a hit or miss what comes out of my mouth – I just talk out of my a**.
