The trouble with technology-based security systems is that you're always running the risk of a vulnerability appearing, and that's exactly what happened when an ethical hacker was able to open one popular stream's car garage with $10,000,000 worth of vehicles inside.

When you're as rich as some of the biggest live streamers then you'll want to make sure that you've got enough security to protect your assets, and what better in theory than a lock that can't be physically broken?

These types of digital barriers have become increasingly popular over the years as not only do they offer convenience for the owner but enhanced protection against any thieves looking to brute force their way into your home.

Unfortunately for popular Kick streamer Adin Ross, he got a cybersecurity lesson he'll never forget when ethical hacker Ryan Montgomery used a 'dark web device' worth to open his garage in a single button press, letting him walk up to cars worth millions of dollars in total.

Shared by AdinRossVods on X, the clip shows Montgomery use a Flipper Zero to open and close Ross' garage in just one click, and he brands it a 'forever invitation' into his home for a price that pales in comparison to the goods found inside.

Explaining how it works, Montgomery illustrated:

"So all I would have to do if I knew this location and I was a criminal, is sit somewhere around here before [someone] pressed the button once, and now I have access. Pretty bad."

Effectively the Flipper Zero clones the input and signal of a digital key, letting you effectively create a mirror that works on anything providing you're there when the original is used.

There's no time or use limit on how this can be used either – so long as the lock itself remains the same – meaning that a criminal could just walk through your front door or stroll into your garage without you having any means of stopping them.

This has understandably prompted Adin Ross to look into improving his security systems, but the video should also serve as a warning that not everything is quite as secure as it seems, with devices like this easily accessible to those who want them online.

The pair did head onto the dark web shortly after, where they were able to find sites selling lean, RPGs, and C4 explosives, showing his massive audience that there's a whole world out there that most people have no idea about.
