Texas representative issues scathing two-word response when asked what she would say to Elon Musk

It's some pretty colorful language

No matter what you think of Elon Musk, he's certainly doing his best to try and prove he can get the job done. While the head of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency originally admitted he wasn't sure whether he could slash $2 trillion from federal spending, that hasn’t stopped him from going in with a (literal) chainsaw to make sweeping cuts to whole departments.

The Tesla and Space X CEO remains a divisive figure in politics, and while some cheer him as a white knight who can trim the fat in Washington D.C., others see him as a harbinger of doom who wasn't officially voted into office.

Musk's designation as a "special government employee" has caused a stir among senators and the public alike, especially due to his ability to make such major changes to the government.

This special title means that Musk can only work 130 days out of a 365-day year, although he can work multiple years so might be sticking around for the entirety of Donald Trump’s presidency.

The world's richest man has already rattled Senator Tina Smith with his email asking what federal staff did last week, and now, congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has made her feelings clear.

As the Democratic representative from Texas, Crockett has already clashed with the Trump administration over Canada and Mexico, but it appears she also doesn't have much love for the head of the DOGE.

A clip of Crockett has gone viral, and when asked "If you could speak directly to Elon Musk, what would you say?" during a House Democratic Caucus press conference, she responded with a very simple: "F**k off."

Cheering Crockett's response, attorney Jason McLean posted on BlueSky and said: "More of this energy please.

“Also note that she is not 800 years old, gets the problems that Elon and his cronies are causing, and that it will take a long time to repair them the longer this goes. A lot to be found in those two little words."

Combat veteran Travis Matthew added: "We need more Jasmine Crockett and less Marjorie Taylor Greene."

Someone else on X wrote: "Rep. Crockett just dropped the mic on Elon—bold, brilliant, and 100% on point! 🔥 Musk’s chaos doesn’t belong in our government. Keep speaking truth, @JasmineForUS !!"

Others were against the profanity, with one critic saying: "I’m embarrassed she’s a United States congresswoman. How low are the standards going to get? What an absolute embarrassment."

Another chimed in with: "Wow, Crockett belongs nowhere near the White House, @elonmusk I think it's time to do a deep dive into Crockett's corruption! I would bet everything that there is plenty!!"

Someone in the middle concluded: "I'm a fan of @ElonMusk and am loving every minute of the @DOGE saga. Yet I don't have a problem with her language. He talks like that. Why can't she? Keep it real."

Given that Crockett is a Vice Ranking member on the House Oversight Committee and serves on the Oversight subcommittee on the DOGE, this isn't her first rodeo. As she's become a major voice among the Democrats taking a stand against the Trump administration and the powers given to Musk, something tells us it won't be long before the latter has something to say about her two-word response.
