Technician shares her ‘work with a view’ from top of wind turbine and it's seriously freaking people out

The perks of working at heights.

LinkedIn is flooded with photos of people's stunning work views.

The rise of remote working has certainly shifted the cubicle work environment culture to people setting up their home offices in tropical regions and beachside balconies.

Specifically, data from LinkedIn showed 15.9% (about 1 in 6) of US paid job postings offered remote work in August 2022.

However, we forget that the beautiful views aren't just for home office setups but also those outdoor enthusiasts who work at heights.

The point as such is proved by TikTok user @ijasmiin who showed her followers her 'Arbeit mit Aussicht' which translates in English to 'work with a view.'

The wind turbine technician shows her view with her laptop from atop a wind turbine on a sunny day in the countryside.

Whilst the job may not appeal to all, and will of course come with many risks, you can't deny the view.

Nine seconds was all she needed to showcase the beautiful natural landscape she had around her.

Safe to say, viewers were freaked out by the height.

'My stomach hurt just watching this,' commented one user.

Whilst others couldn't help but wonder what were to happen in case of an emergency, asking 'is it true that you get an emergency parachute or paraglide thing when climbing these things?'

However, a few adrenaline junkies in the comments seemed to love it, saying 'my dream job', 'i wanna do that job how ?' and 'i Need that job'.

One user who shared their experience with working at heights replied: 'As a tower mechanic and scaffold builder I am 100% with you, love working in heights'.

'Soloq ranked would be sick there 0ms,' wrote another TikTok user who clearly knows their battle royale games.

Others interested in getting a similar job for the perks asked: 'What skills do you need to be a turbine technician?'.

It's definitely a role for those who aren't scared of heights!

Out of the jobs that are rated the best for views, wind turbine engineer is certainly up there. If heights aren't your thing though, ground-level jobs including truck and train drivers are potential options - even a cashier in the Empire State Building according to one report.

However, if you're looking for a view that is truly out of this world, looking into job opportunities at the International Space Station (ISS) might just be the ticket.
