There could be some new blood heading to the White House, as President Donald Trump is circling his next choice for Surgeon General. While Robert F. Kennedy Jr. already proved a controversial pick for United States Secretary of Health, the POTUS is apparently looking at an equally controversial name to work alongside RFK as the next Surgeon General. Donald Trump has been called out for suggesting 'wellness influencer' Casey Means could be next to step up as the US Surgeon General, and aside from her brother already being a close advisor to RFK, there are concerns that she might not even have a practising medical license.
After conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer called out Trump's previous pick of Dr Janette Nesheiwat due to her support of COVID-19 vaccinations and the fact that she's the sister-in-law of former Trump White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, she's now turned her attention to Means.
Sharing an article of Means', Loomer claims her methods are similar to witchcraft, joking, "I would call her a Witch Doctor, but she doesn’t even have a valid active medical license. So I’m not going to call @CaseyMeansMD a doctor."

The article in question is from her newsletter and is titled, "9 Steps I took to find love at age 35."
While lots of it is pretty generic advice, like looking for signs from the universe and looking into therapy to try and find the cause of why you aren't prioritizing love, Loomer points to some of the more unorthodox methods.
In a different thread, Loomer wrote, "The inmates are running the asylum," and shared excerpts from the newsletter. In particular, she pointed to a section called "EMBRACE THE 'WOO WOO' (AKA, THE MYSTERY).

Means talks about how she prayed to pictures of her ancestors, worked with a spiritual medium, and performed "full moon ceremonies with grounded, powerful women where we called in abundance and let go of what wasn’t serving us."
Loomer highlighted a mention of Means hiking alone and talking to trees, as well as doing plant medicines (under the advice of trusted guides).

It's clear that Loomer doesn't think Means is the right woman for the job. She referred to Means' nomination as a supposed failure from the 'geniuses' she says work on Trump's 'non-existent' vetting team.
Others replied to the allegations, with one person writing: "Oh it’s worse than witchcraft…. it’s wellness influencer cosplay with a government badge. Talking to trees is cute on TikTok, not in the Surgeon General’s office."
Another tagged Trump's X account and added: "Omg this is appalling and the medical community is up in arms! Your vetting Department needs a complete makeover or we will lose our country."
Some didn't see a problem with a third concluding: "Calm down Laura, we had witches before this that got us in this situation. Now reevaluate your thoughts. Plz."

Although the POTUS withdrew his support for Nesheiwat, it looks like Means is still heading toward the White House as the next Surgeon General - whether Loomer likes it or not.
