Bill Gates has hit out against Elon Musk for his far-right political views, arguing that the richest man in the world has been spouting 'insane s***' in his relationships with foreign governments.

Elon Musk's political views have certainly not been kept a secret over the past year, as the billionaire is almost always posting or sharing content on social media platform X that furthers his political agenda.

Domestically he has earned himself a position close to US President Donald Trump after providing him strong support during the latter stages of the election campaign.

Subsequently, this rewarded him with a position at the head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where Musk has pledged to cut up to $2,000,000,000,000 in federal funding.

Musk has largely been accused of engaging in far-right politics in recent times, however, with an alleged Nazi salute at the presidential inauguration being the icing on the cake for many.

He has led targeted tirades against the UK government for their supposed mishandling of decade-old child sexual abuse scandals, making an elected official fear for her safety after specific harassments from Musk.

On top of this, Musk has expressed strong support for far-right political parties in both the UK (Reform) and Germany (AfD), which has led to intense criticism from one concentration camp memorial head.

The latest to fire back against Elon Musk though is fellow tech billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who, as reported by the Guardian, pushing back against his embracing of foreign far-right politicians and parties.

"You want to promote the right wing but say Nigel Farage is not rightwing enough. I mean, this is insane s***," remarked Gates.

He also added that while Musk is indeed "super smart," he's not using his intelligence and powers to help others. Instead, he's opting for "populist stirring."

"It's difficult to understand why someone who has a car factory in both China and in Germany, whose rocket business is ultra-dependent on relationships with sovereign nations and who is busy cutting $2 trillion in US government expenses and running five companies, is obsessing about this grooming story in the UK. I'm like, what?"

Add onto to that claims that he's also one of the best Diablo and Path of Exile players in the world, and you start to wonder where Musk's priorities lie.

Despite meeting Trump at Mar-a-Lago following the election, Gates has remained a strong supporter of the Democrat party, having donated $50,000,000 to Harris' campaign.

He was also one of the few names near the top of the richest individuals in the world to not appear at Trump's inauguration, which was a notable absence considering the presence of his contemporaries like Jeff Bezos and Tim Cook.
