People have been left shocked after realizing that Joe Rogan’s podcast ‘predicted’ the anti-ICE protests in LA.

Protests have been sweeping the streets of downtown LA over the last week, which has seen people clash with ICE agents carrying out aggressive raids.

Local residents have been demonstrating in response to these raids, and nearly 400 arrests have been made since Saturday (June 7).

The Trump administration has deployed 5,000 Marines and National Guard troops in an attempt to put a stop to the protests.

During a press briefing, Trump told reporters: “If we didn’t send in the national guard quickly, right now, Los Angeles would be burning to the ground.”

Now, people have been shocked to discover that the events of the last few days might have been predicted by a podcast guest back in 2023.

During an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, comedian Sam Tripoli said: “The next thing you’re going to see are immigration riots... immigration riots, people going nuts.”

Tripoli went on to claim that he’d heard from ‘people in intelligence’ that they were preparing for immigration riots in the case of Trump being re-elected to the White House.

Since the protests began on June 6, Tripoli has taken to social media to claim that he had predicted it would happen.

On X, formerly Twitter, the comedian wrote: “I told you this was going to happen. All part of the plan, man!”

This prompted others to take to the comment section to share their own reactions, with one user writing: “Sam Tripoli predicting the LA Riots 2 years ago with eerie accuracy on Joe Rogan.”

Another said: “Chalk up another one to Sam was right. Question is now, what’s next?”

And a third person added: “This is insane man you called it.”

Although, other users did make the point that Tripoli technically ‘didn’t get it right’ due to the fact that he claimed the riots would happen ‘around the 2024 election’.

During his appearance on the podcast, Tripoli told Rogan that he’d received information from actress and podcaster Melody Krell.

Tripoli continued: “Mel K comes on my show and says, ‘I’ve been talking to some people in intelligence, and they say this pride stuff is going away.

“The next thing you’re going to see are immigration riots. This is going to happen right around the next election.”

Some viewers have likened the mention of removing ‘pride stuff’ to the dismantling of DEI policies by the Trump administration.
