UFC boss Dana White says Mark Zuckerberg isn’t just a tech businessman — he’s a legit threat in a fight.
The Facebook founder and Meta CEO, 41, was long seen as a socially awkward genius — an image cemented by Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal of him in The Social Network (2010).
More recently, Zuckerberg has taken his competitive streak off-screen, training in MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu and earning himself a blue belt. There have even been talks of him and his tech nemesis Elon Musk, 54, fighting each other in a cage.
Although it may sound ludicrous, it seems Zuckerberg could pull a few punches in the ring, and the head of the UFC recently shared why he was left impressed by Zuckerberg’s athleticism.
“He trains in MMA, he surfs, he does all this s***. Zuckerberg will beat the s*** out of you," White said on an episode of The Skinny Confidential podcast.

“Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd, Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living s*** out of you. All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, he’ll kick their a**.
“The moral of this story is all you telephone tough guys and internet tough guys that talk s*** about Mark Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg will beat the s*** out of every one of you,' White added. “Just for the record”.
Two years have passed since two of the most high-profile tech billionaires, Musk and Zuckerberg, plotted to fight each other in a cage match.
It was news that left the internet bewildered and confused in June 2023, and many people thought the pair would actually trade punches. Musk had posted a message on X, declaring that he was “up for a cage fight” with Zuckerberg.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg then shared a screenshot of the tweet with the caption, “send me location”.
Musk then replied to Zuckerberg's response with: "Vegas Octagon.”

The Octagon is a fenced-in area in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is used for UFC fights.
However the fight never happened, with Zuckerberg claiming in August 2023 that his foe ‘isn’t serious’ about holding a cage fight, and told the world ‘it’s time to move on’.
During the recent podcast interview, White spoke about how excited he was when it seemed the fight would actually happen.
“That whole thing was fascinating,' White said. 'A fun moment in my career… promoting the Elon-Zuckerberg fight and trying to put that thing together was a lot of fun, too.”
