The long awaited results from President Donald Trump’s MRI scan have revealed new insight into his health.
This comes after the White House shared the results of the scan that had taken place back in October.
Concerns were first raised for the health of the president after images of him wearing blotches of makeup on his hand were spotted, while his ankles appeared to be swollen.
Back in July, it was confirmed that Trump had chronic venous insufficiency, which is caused by damage to the veins.

At the time, the White House stated that this condition was ‘benign and common’.
The president’s physician, US Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, shared a statement on Monday (December 1) to reveal Trump’s ‘advanced imaging results’.

In the note, it said: “As part of President Donald J Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.”

Speaking to reporters, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging is perfectly normal. There is no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels.”
She added: “The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health.
“His abdominal imaging is also perfectly normal. All major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.”
The physician concluded in the report: “SUMMARY: This level of detailed assessment is standard for an executive physical at President Trump's age and confirms that he remains in excellent overall health.”

Worries from the public grew after the president was spotted ‘sleeping’ in the Oval Office during an event, a claim which has since been played down by the White House.
Trump has previously hit out at reporters who questioned him about his health. Before flying back to Washington DC on Air Force One on Sunday (30 November), a reporter brought up Governor Tim Walz calling for the release of his MRI results.
The 79-year-old quickly hit back, saying they were ‘perfect like my phone call where I got impeached’, adding: “If you want to have it released, I’ll release it.”

Another journalist asked if the scan was carried out on the brain, to which Trump responded: “I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn't the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it. I got a perfect mark which you would be incapable of doing.”
