Recent photos shared on social media by an ex-pentagon boss have left Joe Rogan and his podcast guests in shock, as they appear to depict a 'dead alien' in an extremely troubling nature.

Joe Rogan has certainly never shied away from alien related conspiracies, as he has made the supernatural and extraterrestrial beings a frequent conversation feature with guests on his chart-topping podcast.

He has previously spoken to former CIA scientists about crashed UFOs across America, and offered his own alien-centric perspective on the New Jersey drone saga late last year, indicating his 'genuine concern' at its potential.

One recent discussion has shown the opposite side of the coin though, as while photos of a supposed 'dead alien' do leave him shocked, he reserved a healthy dose of skepticism this time around, as reported by the Daily Mail.

What did Joe Rogan say about the 'dead alien' photos?

Rogan shared the photos with comedians Luis J. Gomez and Big Jay Oakerson on a recent episode of his podcast, and they were all left questioning quite how real these alleged leaks could be.

"These photos that are supposedly of a real alien, bro it's so dumb, the photos look blurry, the photos of the dead alien," Rogan proclaims with a clearly frustrated tone.

"Like you can't even zoom in on that, you can't even f***ing focus, look at these. Yeah, that thing. Look at that, what is that? How about better pictures? This is crazy. These are the only pictures."

Rogan even goes as far to jokingly question if the images 'are from the 40s', likely due to their poor quality, as you'd imagine something as groundbreaking as an alien would command enough composure to take a clear and steady picture.

One of his guests indicates that "people want to believe," to which Rogan responds: "So bad, me too. I'm like, maybe the bottom one."

Who shared the 'alien' photos?

When you realize who the images were sourced from though you might be on Rogan's side, as despite his former role, ex-Pentagon official Luis Elizondo hasn't always been right when it comes to extraterrestrial conspiracies.

He was previously employed by the US Department of Defense in military intelligence related roles, and has used his platform following departure from the federal system to supposedly shine a light on the potential of alien life on Earth.

Elizondo has claimed to reveal the 'real reason' why the government doesn't want you to know about UFOs, and has shared a number of images claiming them to be flying alien spacecraft - although most of these have been debunked.

Given the fact that Elizondo has proven to be incorrect a number of times in the past, it's probably best that you, like Rogan, remain wary of these alleged 'dead alien' images, even if you do want to believe that they're real.
