Elon Musk has revealed a shocking pitch he had for Saturday Night Live, which would have resulted in the billionaire exposing himself on national TV.
Musk hosted the popular late night show back in 2021 but a few years later, he shared a pitch he once had that would reveal whether or not the live show was actually live.
Appearing on the stage at the All in Summit back in 2024, the Tesla boss explained: “One of the things that I think everyone has been sort of wondering this whole time is, is Saturday Night Live actually live? Like live, live, live - or do they have a delay or just in case there’s a wardrobe malfunction or something like that. Is there like a five second delay? What’s really going on here?”

The tech mogul went on to share that he believes there is a way ‘test’ it out, going on to add: “We came up with a way [to test it], which is we don’t tell them what’s going on. I walk on and I go, ‘this is the script’, and throw it on the ground, ‘we’re going to find out tonight, right now, if Saturday Night Live is actually live.
“The way that we’re going to do this is I’m going to take my c*** out. And if you see my c***, you know it’s true.”
Laughter erupted from the audience, with the camera panning to shocked faces.
Many people took to social media to react to the revelation, with one user writing on Reddit: “People will quickly write this off as a joke. But it's definitely not. He knew that the richest man in the world in the world, pulling out his d*** live on SNL, would be the most talked about thing in the history of SNL. Possibly the most talked about thing in the history of television… people don't understand how the super elite and wealthy operate. Especially someone as unhinged as Elon.”
Another said: “I don’t think he would have destroyed SNL’s reputation, only his own. Which he ended up doing anyways. Why would people blame the SNL team for something dumb the host did? Plenty of hosts have had backlash in the past for something they did/said, but not the show itself.”
And a third person added: “Dear god, all the imbeciles laughing like it was such a brilliant move. This man has all our data, by the way.”
