Elon Musk, one of the richest men in the world starts every day with an unhealthy snack you probably weren't expecting.

Celebrities are known for their intense diet and exercise regimes. Whether it's chia seeds or green juices, celebs and tech moguls alike are often trying to optimise their health and what they put into their body. Jeff Bezos for example is known for taking his fitness regime very seriously.

Musk on the other hand, likes to indulge in life's pleasures.

Last year, Musk took to X to respond to one of the founding partners of health care business Fountain Life, Peter Diamandis, who had posted 'sugar is poison'.

Musk simply responded: “I eat a donut every morning. Still alive”

Musk's response gained an impressive 181k likes, topping the original post which only had 41k.

This isn't the first time the tech mogul has voiced his opinions on health and diet before either. Back in 2020 on the Joe Rogan Podcast Musk had said: “I’d rather eat tasty food and live a shorter life.”

On the same podcast, Musk also explained that he's not a fan of exercise: “To be totally frank, I wouldn’t exercise at all if I could."

Musk hasn't been shy about talking about his weight loss before, posting back in 2022 in response to someone asking about his fitness routine, Musk replied: "Fasting". Shortly followed by 'and Wegovy', the popular weight loss drug.

Wegovy works by mimicking the action of a gut hormone which is released after eating and slows down the digestion process to help you stay fuller for longer.

Posting again later that year, Musk revealed more details about his weight loss tricks, writing: "On advice of a good friend, I’ve been fasting periodically & feel healthier"

He followed up with an app recommendation too: "The Zero fasting app is quite good"

Musk lost over 20lbs in 2022 from what he called his 'unhealthy peak weight'.

This combination of fasting and Wegovy is something Musk has cited many times, elaborating further in November 2022 that his weight loss is also down to have 'no tasty food' near him.

Wegovy doesn't sound all sunshine and rainbows though, with one follower responding to Musk's post asking: "Does it give you those nasty burps too? Tastes like rotten eggs lol"

Musk quickly responded in agreement: "Yeah, next-level 🤣🤣"

Musk's taste for indulgent food might come a surprise for some as his mother Maye Musk is a dietician herself, and has appeared on several magazine covers as a model and dietician.

The Tesla CEO has also been in the news recently after sliding into the 'Hawk Tuah girl's' DMs on his platform X.
