There is a new ‘death clock’ that will predict the date you’re going to die.

The app claims that it knows what day will be the user’s death and even offers some tips on how to postpone it.

Not only that but the clock is powered by artificial intelligence.

The AI was trained by using over 1,200 studies on life expectancies.

On the site, it reads: “Death Clock AI analyzes your life choices to determine when you will die, and how you can improve your habits to live even longer.”

The app’s developer, Brett Franson, spoke to Bloomberg, where he said that the clock offers a ‘pretty significant’ improvement on standard life tables.

The app first launched back in July and has over 125,000 downloads.

And while the biggest draw is finding out a date of when you could potentially kick the bucket, it’ll also offer you advice on how to prolong your lifespan.

The app provides custom recommendations on nutrition, exercise and stress management.

But the tips and tricks won’t come for free, while the death prediction is free, the app has an annual subscription fee of $40 for its lifestyle advice.

But it could be well worth the price, as the death clock will even provide financial advice by helping users to plan their financial future.

Also speaking to Bloomberg, financial planner Ryan Zabrowski said: “A huge concern for elderly people, our retirees, is outliving their money.”

How does the clock calculate your death?

In order for it to predict the date of your death, you’ll need to answer 29 questions, and from there it’ll tell you your life expectancy and your biological age.

Many people were shocked by the new app, with some taking to social media to share their reactions.

On Reddit, one user wrote: “While the app might sound morbid, it's helping people make healthier choices. It also has big potential in financial planning, as accurate life expectancy predictions could improve retirement savings and insurance planning.”

Another said: “Just get a quote for life insurance, their premiums will tell you how long they know you will live for.”

And a third person joked: “Pirate it and you gain an extra few days from $40 worth of food.”

Over on TikTok, one user wrote: “NAWWW I'VE SEEN THE MOVIE COUNTDOWN.”

A second commented: “I don’t need anymore anxiety.”

And a third person added: “Tomorrow is never promised you’ll never know when you will actually die.”
