You're bound to get at least one game that you're interested in every month as part of the PlayStation Plus line up, but the selection this July holds over 199 hours worth of fun and leaves many gamers feeling hyped.

From some of the year's best titles to plenty of underrated gems, PlayStation Plus' monthly selection is a veritable gold mine of games that you'll be able to keep forever, so long as you have an active subscription.

Sony has already treated its loyal subscribers to a number of excellent titles this year so far, to the point where you've probably not managed to get through them all yet, but the upcoming month is adding over 199 hours of gameplay that you won't want to miss.

What are the PS Plus games in July 2025?

As reported by GAMINGbible, here are all three games coming to the Essential tier of PlayStation Plus this month:

  • Diablo 4
  • King of Fighters XV
  • Jusant

There's something for everyone this month, as you've got a choice between the dungeon crawling action of Diablo, the tense arcade fighting of King of Fighters, and the more narrative-based indie fun of Jusant.

Diablo 4 is undeniably the biggest game out of these three, as it was praised as one of the best games to release last year and still has an active fan base diving into each new season.

While game length tracker HowLongToBeat indicates that the average Diablo 4 playthrough takes between 26 and 49 hours, anyone who has played Blizzard's ARPG series before knows that the real game only begins after you beat the main story, and can easily steal hundreds of hours of your time.

Being a fighting game, King of Fighters XV can also be played for a near endless period of time depending on your interest in the genre, with a 'Completionist' run reaching 241 hours on HowLongToBeat.

Comparatively, Jusant is definitely the shortest of the bunch as it's one-and-done experience will only take you a couple of hours to finish, but it's the cherry on top of an already great month - and might be one to play if you're looking for a Death Stranding 2 alternative.

When can you download the July 2025 PS Plus games?

All three games in the July 2025 Essential line up will be available for active subscribers to download on July 1, 2025, and they will also be free for all three PS Plus tiers.

Like all Essential games, these three titles will be free to keep forever as long as you claim them within the month that they're added, meaning that you don't need to worry about how long completing them takes as long as you don't cancel your subscription.

What's even better news is that the new Diablo 4 season also launches on July 1, making it perfect timing for anyone wanting to dive straight into the action.
