When your grandfather is Donald Trump, you don't really have much choice but to embrace the spotlight. Following in her grandfather's footsteps, Kai Trump launched her own YouTube channel that gives insight into everything from election night to golfing with Grandpa.
She's risen to prominence since she spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, explaining her relationship with Donald Trump, referring to him as 'just a normal grandpa,' and branding him an inspiration.

This new-found fame has spurred Kai to keep letting us inside her life, and in her latest vlog, she's shown us what went on in the buildup to the inauguration.
It starts with Kai getting dressed to accompany her grandfather to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery and then attend a 'Make America Great Again Victory Rally' in Washington.
Discussing the triumphant return of TikTok after it was only down for a matter of hours, Kai added: "I'm so grateful for Grandpa, for bringing it back. Yeah, thanks Grandpa, he took one for the team."
She went on to ask her viewers to comment on the worst part of asparagus in the comments, showed off her jewelry choices, and headed out into the Capital One Arena with her father, Donald Trump Jr., to share a few words. Kai thanked the crowd for coming and got rapturous applause when she said she was looking forward to the next four years of her grandfather in office. Could a future in politics also be on the cards for her to help continue the Trump dynasty'?
She even sneaks in a cameo from Elon Musk, which wouldn't be the first time the world's richest man has got a mention on her vlog.
Trump goes on to promote designer Sherri Hill sending her some dresses from the ball, and with the video currently being at No.6 on YouTube's trending section, that should be a nice little earner for Hill.
There's only a brief look at the Candlelight VIP dinner, although it looked like a suitably grand affair, but this is only the first of a two-part vlog.
Trump says she wants to get these videos out as quickly as possible, so with January 20 being the big day Donald J. Trump was officially sworn back into office, her second video should be even more interesting in terms of getting a peek inside the private lives of the Trumps.
Although Kail Trump isn't quite at MrBeast level, her video has amassed over 800,000 views in just a matter of hours.
Responding to her vlog, one person wrote: āFirst actual behind the scenes of a presidential inauguration in USA history which is crazy to think. Thank you for the video š."
Another added, "This girl is going to go viral! I expect she will eventually eclipse her grandfather in popularity! Sweet to see her hang out with her cousin. ā¤ Hopefully she stays grounded and remains genuine and down to earth. ā¤."
