Jaw-dropping satellite images expose North Korea building 'largest and most advanced warship' ever

This comes as Kim Jong-Un continues testing of intercontinental ballistic missiles

Jaw-dropping satellite images have exposed North Korea for building the ‘largest and most advanced warship’ ever.

The images have revealed that the ship is twice as big as other vessels in its fleet, making it the largest warship in history.

This is just the latest effort by Kim Jong Un to increase military power in North Korea.

The new warship was pictured at Nampo shipyard, which is located on the west coast of the country, near Pyongyang.

According to a report by CNN, an analysis by Joseph Bermudez Jr. and Jennifer Jun at the Center for Strategic and International Studies shared: “The FFG is approximately 140 meters (459 feet) long, making it the largest warship manufactured in North Korea.”

Kim has made it clear that military advancements are a priority for him with the continued testing of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

These missiles are now capable of reaching any location in the US.

It was also revealed last month that the secretive regime was now working on a nuclear-powered submarine.

In March, North Korea released images of what it called ‘a nuclear-powered strategic guided missile submarine’.

Speaking to the Mirror, Moon Keun-sik, who is a South Korean submarine expert and teacher at Seoul’s Hanyang University, discussed the new naval ship, explaining that it appears to be a 6,000-ton-class or 7,000-ton-class one which can carry about 10 missiles.

The expert went on to say that using the term ‘strategic guided missiles’ meant that the ship would be carrying nuclear-capable weapons, adding: “It would be absolutely threatening to us and the US.”

Since the news of the ship was released, people have taken to social media to share their own reactions to it.

And it seems that not everyone is concerned about the technology advancements of the vessel.

On Reddit, one user wrote: “Bigger doesn’t mean better. There hasn’t been real naval warfare since WW2. Nuclear stealth submarines have ruled the seas for over 20 years. Aircraft carriers are heavily supported and defended. One of those can flatten a country in hours.”

Another said: “It needs only a few drones to bring a big ship down.”

A third person commented: “So it will be up to the technology of a 90s US warship or so?”

This prompted a reply from another user who joked: “At least 10 oarsmen on each side.”

And a fifth added: “So as advanced as a regular canoe then.”
