Mind blowing 'man from Taured' leaves people in disbelief as the most convincing 'proof' of a parallel universe

For decades, conspiracy theorists have been trying to find proof that time traveling exists and now there could be convincing ‘proof’.

This comes as the mind blowing ‘man from Taured’ has left people in disbelief and wondering if there could actually be a parallel universe.

The man in question arrived at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, in July 1954.

Making his way through customs, the man claimed that he was from Taured, which confused authorities as they couldn’t find any country by that name.

While his passport looked authentic, Japanese officers couldn’t verify it so they produced a map and asked the man to point to his country.

He pointed to Andorra, a small country between France and Spain, and said that he didn’t understand why it was called Andorra on the map.

Unconvinced, the police took the man into custody, giving him a room in a hotel while they conducted their investigation.

Two guards were posted at the door so he couldn’t escape but much to their shock, the man had disappeared by the following morning.

Authorities couldn’t work out how he had vanished as the room was on a high floor with no balcony.

Since then, the mystery of the man from Taured has become an urban legend and some believe that it is ‘proof’ of a parallel universe.

Many people have taken to social media to react to the conspiracy theory, with one user writing: “Love how alternate reality claims are always tiny little immaterial discrepancies while 99.9+% of other variables around the subject/object are beyond mundane and rooted in our reality. It’s almost like people have really bad deductive reasoning and think they're the main character of the universe.”

Another said: “In a parallel universe, the guy points to Taured, and says he is from Andorra.”

A third joked: “Con man: tells lies. Everyone: ‘omg he's from an alternate universe!!!!!’”

And a fourth person added: “It’s an intriguing tale, but one that is most probably a fabrication.”

There is a potential explanation for the man from Taured that unfortunately doesn’t include any parallel universes.

John Zegrus was a real person who, in 1960, was taken into custody by Japanese authorities for having allegedly fabricated his identity documents.

It was reported that he had a fake passport claiming to be from the made-up state of Tuarid.

He was dubbed as the ‘mystery man’ and subsequently became the inspiration for some urban legends.

Mystery solved!
