WW3 fears surge as Trump increases production of devastating missile supplies

Many are worried about war on the horizon

There are a number of worrying warning signs coming out of the United States government right now, as people's fears surrounding World War 3 only increase amid Trump's call to increase the production of devastating missile supplies.

One of the biggest promises that Donald Trump made during his election campaign last year was the end to war and conflict on foreign soil, yet his actions in recent months have seemingly shown only a desire to provoke the opposite.

Trump promised to restore peace after claiming that Joe Biden had brought the world "to the brink of World War 3," but America appears to be preparing for all out warfare with a number of worrying moves.

The warning signs were there when his administration made the decision to rename the 'Department of Defense' to the 'Department of War', and a recent meeting called by President Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth with the nation's top generals only furthered people's fears.

As reported by the Financial Times, Trump claimed that US cities – notably those who voted in favor of other candidates in the last election – should be used as military 'training grounds', and Hegseth frighteningly declared to military officials that they must "prepare for war," as per Newsweek.

Now, the threat of global warfare appears to have increased even further following Trump's decision to dramatically increase the production of a number of 'devastating' missile supplies, with China suggested by some to be in the crosshairs of the United States military.

As shared by the Daily Mail, military leaders have reportedly issued requests to defense contractors to double, and even possibly quadruple the existing inventory of around a dozen of the army's key weaponry and defense inventory.

This appears to include Patriot missile interceptors, anti-ship missles, and precision bombs, with the Department of War claiming that these have been depleted in the support of Ukraine in its ongoing war against Russia.

The focus on defensive missiles – including the PAC-3 that's exclusively used to shoot down impending threats – paired with the push for Trump to develop and implement his Golden Dome scheme could imply that the government can foresee a foreign nation attacking America, perhaps after provocation.

This increase in production was already planned for and afforded as a consequence of the Big Beautiful Bill that was passed earlier this year, putting aside around $25 billion across the next five years for munitions spending.

While there remains no explicit conflict that America will enter into, the messaging from the Trump administration coupled with this rapid increase in spending and production has caused many to read between the lines and fear that we could be closer to WW3 than we might think.
