The tech mogul claimed that he could be put in prison if Trump loses the presidential election

Elon Musk has joked that he could face prison time if Trump loses the presidential election in a new interview with Tucker Carlson.
The Tesla boss spoke to the former Fox News host for an interview that aired on Muskâs own social media platform X - formerly Twitter.
The conversation started off with Carlson talking to Musk about what would happen if Trump loses to Democrat candidate Kamala Harris.

Carlson said: âIf Trump loses, youâre f***ed dude.â
Musk laughed and replied: âIf he loses, Iâm f***ed. How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be? Will I see my children? I donât know.â
Musk confirmed that he plans to continue with his support of Trump if he loses the election in November, adding that he thinks Harris is a âpuppetâ.
He said: âKamala is gonna say whatever the teleprompter is gonna say.â
The billionaire then referred a tweet heâd made last month where he had claimed âno one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamalaâ.
Speaking to Carlson, he appeared to double down, saying: âI made a joke that no oneâs even trying to kill Kamala because itâs pointless. What do you achieve? Nothing. Theyâll just put in another puppet.â
âItâs deeply true,â Carlson replied.
Elon Musk is all in.

He also talked to Carlson about his fears that religion is somehow being replaced by the âwoke mind virusâ.
Viewers of the interview took to X to react, with one user writing: âJoking about assassinating our elected leaders is not just tastelessâitâs dangerous. In todayâs divided climate, we need responsible voices, not reckless rhetoric that normalizes violence. Itâs un-American for Elon Musk & Tucker Carlson to make light of such serious threats. Our leadersâand all Americansâdeserve better.â
And another replied with: âTrump drags people down to his level.â
On Saturday, Musk made an appearance at Trumpâs rally in Pennsylvania.
It took place at the same spot of the former presidentâs assassination attempt in July.
The tech mogul jumped up and down with his fists in the air as he joined Trump on stage.
Musk addressed the crowd, saying: âAmerica is the home of the brave and the true test of someoneâs character is how they behave under fire.
âWe had one president who couldnât climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot! Fight, fight, fight!â
He added: âIâm being repetitive for a reason. Honestly you want to be a pest. Fight, fight, fight! Vote, vote, vote!â
Trump praised Musk for donating Starlink systems to victims impacted by Hurricane Helene before adding: âI didnât know what the hell Starlink was.â
