Claire "Grimes" Boucher has informed fans that she's had to pull out of an upcoming music festival due to 'family issues', as conflict with Elon Musk - who she shares three children with - appears to continue on.
Shortly after Elon Musk split up with short-term girlfriend Amber Heard in what he described as experiencing 'severe emotional pain', the billionaire got together with Canadian musician Grimes, who had previously been outspoken on her 'anti-imperialist' beliefs.
Debuting their relationship at the 2018 Met Gala after sharing 'flirty interactions' on Twitter, they would then go on to have three children together - including two seemingly after they split up.

X Æ A-Xii is their oldest at 5 years old, and is regularly seen alongside Musk while working. This year he even shared a spot next to the president in the Oval Office.
However, X Æ A-Xii and the pair's two younger children have been the subject of a long and bitter custody battle, and this has seemingly caused their mother to pull out of a major music festival just days before she was supposed to take to the stage.

Grimes released a statement on X explaining her decision, as reported by the Independent:
"Hello friends, I am so so sorry and regretful to say I have to cancel my pride show in order to deal with family issues," the singer outlined. "I want to say that I am aware the situation has been a great inconvenience to the fans for some time, and I am truly determined to make sure this is no longer the case very soon."
Grimes was scheduled to perform at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington DC next weekend, alongside acts such as Jennifer Lopez, Troye Sivan, Tinashe, and Ru Paul.
"I think the show is still going to be amazing and the lineup is great," she continued. "I hope this is early enough and gives people enough time if they wish to change their plans. And I *will* make this up to you guys very soon."

The tension between her and Musk has certainly not remained a secret in recent months, as on multiple occasions Grimes has taken to social media to speak out against the billionaire's handling of their child - with suggestions that he isn't communicating with her.
Her assertion that she remains determined to make sure that disruptions like these are 'no longer the case very soon' appears to suggest that the pair are close to concluding their custody disputes, but it remains to be seen how this will play out in the near future.
This is far from the only child controversy that Musk has been involved in this year though, as the reveal of a 'secret baby' with MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair spiralled into a whirlwind of news that saw her reveal the significantly reduced payments she was being sent.

Additionally it was unveiled that the tech mogul attempted to have a baby with a crypto influencer he was interacting with on X, despite having never met in person, and we all became aware of his luxury compound purpose-built to house his many children.
