It looks like the Covid-19 vaccine could be set to be banned for US citizens ‘within months’.

This comes as one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s closest associates revealed there is a push by the Trump administration towards banning the vaccine.

Speaking to the Daily Beast, the source shared that the Covid jab could be off the market ‘within months’ in the US.

RFK Jr, who is the current US secretary of health and human services, has repeatedly denied that he is anti-vaccination, stating that both he and his children are vaccinated.

However, he has also made false claims in the past about vaccines, claiming in an interview with Fox News back in 2023 that ‘autism comes from vaccines’.

At the time, Dr David Elliman, who is a consultant in community child health at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, said to the BBC: “If he is appointed and continues in the same mode, I fear not just for the vaccination programme in the US, but similar programmes around the world, and for healthcare in general.

“Vaccination has probably saved more lives and is better researched than most, if not all, aspects of healthcare. RFK Jr could set this back and be responsible for the death and disability of myriads of people, particularly children.”

Now, there are concerns that people in the US could soon lose access to the Covid vaccine.

Dr Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist who, despite scientific evidence, has controversially claimed that vaccines are more dangerous than the virus, told the Daily Beast that those closest to RFK Jr have told him that they ‘cannot understand’ why the jab is still being prescribed.

Malhotra has been criticized for spreading misinformation and is the leading advisor for the controversial lobby group Make America Healthy Again.

Malhotra is due to meet President Trump next month to push his anti-vaccination views.

News about the vaccine has caused a stir on social media, with one user writing on Reddit: “So now I have a case for the Supreme Court. Since I am [in the] vulnerable population and this puts my life at risk I have standing to overthrow this. Time to lawyer up.”

Another said: “So they are going to start with the covid vaccine and then ban more life-saving vaccines at a later date . But I’m sure they will stockpile vaccines for the rich.”

And a third person added: “We are seriously living in the dumbest timeline of American Politics. Holy f*** these people are insanely dumb.”
