Pornhub's 2025 review has revealed the most searched for video games and video game characters of this year.
December means wrap-up season is here. Following in the footsteps of Spotify Wrapped and YouTube Recap, PornHub has revealed what millions of users have been searching for in adult entertainment throughout 2025.
LADbible's 'FFS' campaign report examined porn consumption among Gen Z, finding that over three-quarters (77%) of Gen Z in the UK consume porn on a regular basis. Of that group, nearly half (43%) are watching porn weekly, which just goes to show that adult content has become a regular part of many young people's lives.
After weathering all this year's hurdles - a 77% decline in UK traffic due to age verification checks, bans across 22 US states and a temporary French exile - Pornhub hasn't lost its crown as the world's most popular porn site. Not to mention it is the 19th most visited website on the entire internet, according to the BBC.

With this massive user base, Pornhub issued its annual Year in Review, revealing the website's most popular search terms, trending movie characters, and most common devices used for viewing adult content in 2025.
The in-depth analysis 'opens a unique window into the ever-evolving desires, curiosities, and cultural obsessions shaping our world,' the official website reads.
Of course, everyone has different preferences when it comes to adult content. For some, that includes fictional characters, especially video game characters.
Most surprisingly, Fortnite, which topped the list for five years running, has been dethroned.
Taking the top spot is now Genshin Impact, which had been closely trailing Fortnite in previous years.
Then, likely boosted by its blockbuster movie's massive box-office success this year, Minecraft jumped two positions, climbing from 5th to 3rd place, pushing Pokémon down to 5th.

Overwatch held steady in 4th place, unchanged from last year. Meanwhile, the newly released game Marvel Rivals broke into the top 10, becoming the 6th most-searched video game of the year.
Other notable jumps included Super Mario, which rose +14 spots, likely driven by the release of the new Nintendo Switch 2, while Nier Automata experienced renewed interest, climbing +9 spots in 2025.
In contrast, other popular video games lost viewer interest, including League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Fallout, which all dropped -5 spots.
The video game character rankings also saw changes.
Beloved Final Fantasy character, Tifa, jumped +2 spots to reach the most-searched video game character in 2025, dethroning last year’s champion, Street Fighter’s Chun Li, down to 3rd. And Lara Croft, a frequent search for many years, maintained her 2024 position in 2nd.
