Sony makes major announcement on PS5 Pro pricing, but you'll have to be quick

As indicated on PlayStation's Days of Play blog post, the PlayStation 5 Pro now has a flat $50 reduction applied to it, slashing the price down to a more manageable $649.
This is still considerably higher than the base PS5 console, but the performance boosts that it offers will definitely be worth the upgrade cost for power users who want the most out of their living room gaming experience.

Available to gamers in the United States and Canada, this is just $399.99 / $509.99 CAD, which is $50 cheaper than the soon-to-be-released Nintendo Switch 2, as reported by The Verge.
