PlayStation fans are in luck - users have been surprised with a free store credit but you’ve only got 24 hours to grab it.

We’ve got to grab those deals when they come as owning a console these days isn’t cheap.

Video games are only increasing in price so when a discount comes along, we have to take advantage of it.

Luckily for anyone who owns a PlayStation, the time is now.

PlayStation Plus will get you a selection of free games each month and, for those who own a PlayStation 4 or a PlayStation 5, you can also sign yourself up to PlayStation Stars.

PlayStation Stars is a free loyalty scheme which rewards players with points.

All you will need to do is participate in simple tasks to win the rewards like buying select games or even just booting up select titles.

In return, you’ll be able to rack up the points - and enough points will get you some free store credit.

This can be used to buy games from the PS Store for next to nothing if you have managed to save enough points for it.

With schemes like this running at all times, there are two that are about to disappear so you’ll need to be quick as you have just 24 hours to earn yourself some free store credit.

The first one rewards players with 50 points by purchasing a ‘Narrative Adventure Game Pick’.

This deal includes titles such as Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, Grim Fandango Remastered, or Burly Men at Sea.

Put simply, activating the campaign via PlayStation Stars and then purchasing any of these titles will reward you with the points.

However, if none of those games take your fancy then you can also receive a further 50 points by purchasing any of the following titles from the PS Store: Spyro Reignited Trilogy, SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, Sonic Superstars, Lego 2K Drive, Bugsnax, or Concrete Genie.

Both of these campaigns will run until October 9, so if you have any of these titles on your game wish list then now is the time to take the plunge as your chance to snap them up ends tomorrow.

So if you want to dive into the visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club or experience a classic with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, make sure you get your free points as you do!
